Prestige Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker Review
The other day I was looking for all-purpose vessel/ kadhai to cook vegetables, rice, gravy etc and I came across a stainless steel cooker cum vessel. It has a thick bottom which prevents burning but surprisingly takes less time for cooking. It has two lids, of which one acts like a pressure cooker and another one is a plain glass lid. It is also suitable for electric induction. I thought this was a good buy in steel category as I did not want to buy a nonstick/ aluminum vessel for health-related reasons.
I started cooking snacks items such as sheera, poha, upma, all kinds of vegetables, pav bhaji, gravies, rice dishes such as pulao, biryani, and nonvegetarian food etc and I must tell you, everything turned out really good. I had one steel vessel for cooking vegetables earlier with the copper bottom but over a period of time, due to wear and tear of the bottom, vegetables used to get burnt and I had to continuously pay attention to it.
But in the new cooker, food is cooked properly, without getting burnt at the bottom and I noticed that all food items retained its unique flavor which was not the case earlier in an aluminum/steel vessel. You don’t need to turn the item in this cooker continuously. Once all ingredients are entered, you can simply cover with a glass lid and the item will be ready in a few minutes. This cooker takes less time for dishes, especially vegetables.
The cooker is quite big in size but you can cook for fewer people also as much as two. If you are planning to change your vessel/kadhai, do consider this wonderful cooker launched by Prestige. It is available on below link.
Happy cooking!
