Red Poha
Rich in various minerals and antioxidants, Red Poha also functions as a good probiotic food. It takes a few minutes to make this nutritious, easy, and no-cook breakfast recipe.
Ingredients:
- Red flattened rice ( Red thin Poha)
- Milk – cow/oat/ almond/soy
- Roasted sesame seeds, pine nuts, sunflower seeds
- Grated fresh or desiccated coconut (preservative-free)
- Honey (honey not to be mixed with hot or chilled milk)
- Chia seeds soaked in water overnight (1 tsp).
- Gond powder (dink powder) soaked in water overnight (1 tsp).
Process:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and allow the Poha to soak in the milk for 5 minutes.
Note: This dish is possible only with thin Poha. If you are using thick Poha, first soak it in the water for some time and then heat it to soften.
