Red Poha

Rich in various minerals and antioxidants, Red Poha also functions as a good probiotic food. It takes a few minutes to make this nutritious, easy, and no-cook breakfast recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Red flattened rice ( Red thin Poha)
  • Milk – cow/oat/ almond/soy
  • Roasted sesame seeds, pine nuts, sunflower seeds
  • Grated fresh or desiccated coconut (preservative-free)
  • Honey (honey not to be mixed with hot or chilled milk)
  • Chia seeds soaked in water overnight (1 tsp).
  • Gond powder (dink powder) soaked in water overnight (1 tsp).

Process:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and allow the Poha to soak in the milk for 5 minutes.

Note: This dish is possible only with thin Poha. If you are using thick Poha, first soak it in the water for some time and then heat it to soften.
