Pancake
Tried pancakes with oat milk today! Avoided cow’s milk since Ayurveda advises against consuming milk and bananas together. Also, let the pancakes cool before adding honey, as pouring it on hot food reduces its benefits and could be harmful.
Ingredients for 2 pancakes-
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 4 tbsp oat milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- a pinch of salt
- half a teaspoon of vanilla essence
- ghee for cooking
- 1 banana for toppings
Recipe Overview –
- In a bowl, add the sugar, egg, oat milk, and vanilla essence and whisk until combined.
- Gradually mix in the wheat flour to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps. Or you could grind everything in a mixer.
- Heat a steel pan on medium flame, lightly grease it with butter or ghee, and pour a small amount of batter to form pancakes.
- Cook each pancake for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown on a low flame.
- Serve with banana toppings or with liquid chocolate or maple syrup.
