Oats smoothie

This is a quick and nutritious breakfast recipe.

Ingredients for 1 glass:-

  • A handful of oats washed and soaked in water overnight (drain the water in the morning and wash them again)
  • 1 banana or 2 chikoos (sapotas)
  • a few seasonal berries
  • 2 soaked almonds
  • 1 soaked walnut
  • 1tsp honey (optional)
  • 1TB yogurt (optional)
  • some water for the required consistency

Process:-

Blend all ingredients in a blender, taste the smoothie, and add soaked dates for more sweetness if desired.

You could also serve the smoothie by adding 1 tsp chia seeds (after being soaked in water for 3-4 hours).
