Finger Millet Laddus

Finger millet laddus are also known as Ragi/Nachani laddu and नाचणीचे लाडू in Marathi. Finger millet is a rich source of calcium and potassium.

Ingredients:

  • Roasted finger millet flour 1 cup
  • Peanut powder half cup
  • Jaggery powder 1 cup
  • Some Ghee
  • Desiccated coconut powder half-cup (optional)

Process:

  • Mix all ingredients in the grinder.
  • Add little ghee to roll the laddus. Peanuts and coconut will release their oils post grinding which would also help for binding.
  • One can also add roasted and ground sesame seeds, cashews, almonds, etc.
