Cold Coffee
Ingredients for 2 glasses:
For the coffee base –
- Instant coffee: 2 tsp
- Sugar: 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
- Water: 2 tbsp
To make the mixture –
- Cow Milk/ Oat Milk: 1 cup (chilled)
- Vanilla custard cream: 4 tbsp (contains sugar)
- Cream: 2 tbsp (whipped or fresh)
- Ice cubes: A handful (optional)
Steps:
- Prepare the Coffee Base:
- In a bowl, mix instant coffee, sugar, and water.
- Whisk the mixture vigorously for 1-2 minutes until it becomes frothy and slightly thickened.
- Blend Everything:
- In a blender, add the whisked coffee base, custard, chilled milk, cream, and ice cubes.
- Blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth, creamy, and frothy.
- Serve:
- Pour the cold coffee into tall glasses.
- Optionally, top with a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or chocolate shavings for garnish.
